SoilAir System components include a blower and either a timer or a microprocessor based controller in a small unobtrusive enclosure. This enclosure is connected to a power supply and the pipe running from the septic tank to the leach field. Other components are also installed on this pipe to monitor septic system operation and to determine aeration frequency. A phone line will be needed for the remote telemetry option.
Once installed, the SoilAir System can monitor the septic system performance and forward this information via the phone.
Model RF 3952TB (Canadian Model 5BD)
SoilAir Model RF 3952TB has a .5 hp blower and is controlled by a 7 day progammable timer and an optional line voltage float switch. This model has a treatment capacity of up to 5 bedrooms or 500 gallons per day.
